United Cigars has announced that the Atabey Black 2026 Edition has begun shipping to a limited number of retailers across the United States.
Produced by Selected Tobacco under the direction of Nelson Alfonso, the Atabey Black 2026 Edition is offered in a single 6 1/8 x 55 vitola. The cigar features an Ecuadorian wrapper over a blend of Nicaraguan and Peruvian fillers with a Dominican binder. According to the company, the cigar underwent extended post-roll aging, including time spent in cedar-lined rooms incorporating multiple cedar varietals and French oak.
Production for the 2026 Edition is limited to 15,000 cigars. United Cigars noted that Atabey Black releases are not tied to a fixed annual schedule but are instead shipped when the cigars are deemed ready following the aging process.
The cigars are packaged in black lacquered boxes of 25 and are available only through approved accounts. Suggested retail pricing is listed at $60 per cigar. Distribution is restricted to a small group of retailers nationwide, including Atabey Lounges, Byron Lounges, Red Anchor Lounges, and select NFT holders.
