Powstanie Cigars has begun shipping its limited SBC24 release to retailers who placed orders during this year’s premium cigar trade show.
The SBC24 marks the latest installment in the brand’s Small Batch Code (SBC) series, which has gained attention among boutique cigar retailers. While not widely distributed, the series has built a following for its limited production and distinctive presentation.
“SBC24 isn’t a cigar we mass produce — it’s built for the shops and customers who truly understand what we do,” said Mike Palmer, National Sales Manager for Powstanie Cigars. “If you were at the show and locked yours in, it’s coming your way now. We don’t hype. We don’t chase trends. We build cigars that punch above their weight — and SBC24 is no different.”
The SBC24 is rolled in a 5 1/2 x 46 corona gorda format and features a barber pole wrapper combining Mexican Habano and Ecuadorian Connecticut leaf. It is produced at Fábrica de Tabacos Nica Sueño S.A. in Estelí, Nicaragua, the same factory behind the rest of the Powstanie portfolio. The cigar uses Nicaraguan tobaccos for both its binder and filler.
Production for the SBC24 is capped at 500 boxes of 20 cigars, with a suggested retail price of $17 per cigar. Retailers who ordered during the show can expect tracking information in the coming days.
