La Aurora USA and Caribbean Sunrise Spirits have announced two major developments in Miami: the official opening of a new distribution center and the unveiling of a large-scale mural in collaboration with Neptune Cigars and Dominican artist Angurria.
Set to open on June 10, 2025, the new Miami Distribution Center will serve as both a logistics hub and headquarters for La Aurora USA (LUSA) and Caribbean Sunrise Spirits (CSS). According to COO Greyci Tineo, the facility is a key step in enhancing service and supply chain responsiveness in the U.S. market.
“Our U.S. distribution journey started back in April of 2023, using a 3PL down in Houston,” Tineo explained. “Our new distribution facility, which also serves as our headquarters offices in Miami, fits our strategic plan of reinforcing our commitment to faster service by increasing our inventory levels.”
Coinciding with the facility’s opening, La Aurora has partnered with Neptune Cigars and muralist Omar García, known as Angurria, to debut a new public art piece in Little Havana. The mural, titled Puentes de Aerosol (“Bridges of Aerosol”), spans 1,890 square feet on the façade of Neptune’s warehouse on 7th Street. It explores the cultural complexity of Miami, with particular attention to its role as a haven for immigrant communities.
“The fact that such an iconic brand from our country like La Aurora sees art as a way to communicate with the world is a great honor—it feels like a perfect union,” said Angurria, who is known for using urban spaces to tell stories rooted in Dominican identity.
The project took seven months of planning and was painted over six days by a team of more than nine people. Nearly 60,000 people pass by the location daily, giving the mural broad public visibility in one of Miami’s most vibrant neighborhoods.
“This project is more than a mural,” said Elvis Batista, Associate Brand Manager at La Aurora USA. “It is a love letter to Latin identity, to the journey of migration, and to the enduring power of culture.”
The official unveiling will take place on June 10 with representatives from La Aurora, Neptune Cigars, the artist studio, and the Miami Mayor’s office in attendance. The event will mark both a celebration of growth for La Aurora and a tribute to the city’s rich cultural landscape.
