Punch Cigars has announced that its Rare Corojo blend, previously released annually in limited quantities, will now become a regular-production offering. The popular medium-bodied cigar features an Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper, a Connecticut Broadleaf binder, and a filler blend from Honduras, Nicaragua, and the Dominican Republic.
As part of the expansion, Punch is introducing a new, limited-edition size for 2025: the Box-Pressed El Gordo (6 x 60). This cigar will feature the same blend as previous Rare Corojo releases and is set to ship in early January, available in boxes of 20 with a suggested retail price of $11.49 per cigar.
The Rare Corojo line will also include nine other sizes, with pricing ranging from $5.19 to $11.39 per cigar. These include formats such as the Champion (4.5 x 60), Rothschild (4.5 x 50), and Magnum (5.25 x 54).
Produced at the STG Danlí factory in Honduras, the expanded Rare Corojo lineup aims to satisfy longstanding demand from enthusiasts, according to Punch brand manager Scott Abney.
