Alec Bradley Cigar Company who recently announced were being acquired by STG debuted the Limited Edition Alec & Bradley Gatekeeper Diamond Press at Total Product Expo (TPE) 2023. Utilizing the Gatekeeper blend, 1500 boxes of Gatekeeper Diamond Press are being produced.
“My father Alan, brother Alec and I have been asked more times than I can count about making a Gatekeeper Diamond,” said second generation cigarmaker, Bradley Rubin. “We’re humbled to have the opportunity to bring a cigar to market that we already know will be highly coveted.”
The new version is said to have been slightly tweaked from the original release of the Gatekeeper in an effort to accentuate the new vitola. Gatekeeper features a Ecuadorian Habano wrapper, binder tobacco and filler tobaccos from Nicaragua and the Dominican Republic.
Only 1500 boxes of Gatekeeper Diamond Press are being produced for global distribution. Retail price per cigar has been set to $12.75, before any applicable taxes. The cigar is slated to show up in retail locations late April.
“We really enjoy exhibiting at TPE,” Bradley continued, “and I’m honored to present the Gatekeeper Diamond Press to such a large group of our tobacconist partners!”
Gatekeeper is the third cigar line to be produced in the Limited Edition Diamond Press shape, preceded by the Nica Puro Diamond Rough Cut and Black Market Estelí Diamond Press. Gatekeeper Diamond Press is being produced at Tobacos de Oriente – Danlí, Honduras.
