Protocol and Dojo combine forces for the fourth time, introducing the Protocol Tenure cigar! Made in celebration of Cigar Dojo’s 10-year anniversary, the Tenure retains the central theme of law enforcement as well, tipping the cap to the most tenured members of the police force.
The Protocol Tenure has been rolled in a singular 6″ x 52 box-pressed toro format, with only 500 boxes of 10 cigars available. Being a celebratory release, the Tenure makes use of a special blend from Héctor J. Alfonso Sr. of Espinosa Premium Cigars. Héctor worked closely with the La Zona factory of Estelí, incorporating a dark Mexican San Andrés wrapper, Nicaraguan Corojo binder, and fillers of Estelí and Condega. Additionally, a rare selection of 10-year-aged tobaccos are used within the filler.
This is one of the most refined Dojo collaborations to date, offering a restrained maduro profile that focuses on nuanced flavor and velvet-like texture above all else. With a medium body and medium-full flavor profile, the cigar hits standout characteristics of rain-soaked soil, mocha, and a long-lasting black tea note through the finish.
