Medium-large in size but stripped down to the bone, My Father Cigars’ booth took on a new shape for the first time in roughly a decade at the PCA 2021 trade show. This made the booth somewhat hard to spot (as evidenced in the photo above), as its defining boundaries were established by four small banners at each corner, with velvet rope barriers like you might expect to find at the bottle service section of a night club.
Since the company’s latest premier release—Fonseca—occurred during the 2020 pandemic, the cigar remained the primary focus for 2021. However, there was also an exclusive size for My Father’s most elite line: García y García. Typically offered in a Toro Deluxe format, My Father rolled 2,500 boxes of a 5¾” x 52 Robustos Deluxe size, available only to retailers that attended the trade show. The cigars will ship in the fall, estimated at $30 MSRP per cigar.
