Alec Bradley displayed one of the best examples of a scaled down booth at the 2021 PCA trade show, keeping a familiar feel and displaying only what was necessary in terms of product. This left the majority of the booth for business, keeping their space small enough to feel consistently busy yet large enough for walk-in visitors.
Alec Bradley was one of a handful of manufacturers to offer a limited-edition product that could only be purchased by retailers that attended the trade show. The cigar was the Magic Toast Box Pressed Gran Toro, offering the 2018 Magic Toast release in a new box-pressed 6″ x 54 size. The cigars are limited to 1,000 boxes of 24, which will retail for $11 MSRP when shipped in Q3 of this year.
Also of note was the recent announcement that sub-brand Alec & Bradley Cigars’ highly rated Gatekeeper cigar will no longer be rolled at Ernesto Perez-Carrillo’s Tabacalera La Alianza factory in the Dominican Republic, instead moving to the Plasencias’ Tobacos de Oriente factory in Honduras. The blend remains intact, and the cigars were handed out to assure the company’s claims of an unchanged experience.
