Black Works Studio (BLK WKS) today announced the Killer Bee SWARM as an extension to the brand’s popular Killer Bee collection. Differentiating itself in the series, the SWARM showcases a Cameroon-style blend for the first time.
To say I’m excited about this release is an understatement. Cameroon is one of my favorite tobaccos and I’ve worked a long time to develop a cigar that highlights the distinct profiles it possesses. While Cameroon-wrapped cigars are typically blended in the medium-light to medium-body range, the Killer Bee SWARM is described as bold—which the Killer Bee lineup is known for. The cigars are rolled in a singular 5″ x 46 corona format and will begin shipping to select retailers later this week. The cigar utilizes an all-Nicaraguan filler, a Nicaraguan Habano binder, and a Cameroon wrapper that has an artistic twist of candela and maduro leaves at the head and foot.
