During this week’s episode of Smoke Night LIVE, featuring Héctor J. Alfonso Sr. (Director of Operations at Espinosa Premium Cigars), Héctor teased a forthcoming collaboration between Espinosa Premium Cigars and General Cigar Company.

While few details were revealed, he did mention that the cigars will feature an atypical recipe/profile, with the cigars being rolled at Espinosa’s own La Zona factory in Estelí. The cigars have been in the works for several months, being blended by Alfonso himself. The collaboration is scheduled for a release revolving around this year’s La Zona Palooza, which has typically been held in late October / early November.

Earlier this year, Jack Toraño joined Espinosa as the company’s director of sales. Being one of the only members of the famed Toraño family remaining in the industry, Jack was hired by General Cigar in 2016, operating as the brand ambassador for Toraño, which General acquired in 2014. Working with General for over two years, Jack provides the logical connection between the two companies.
