In recent years, a growing number of boutique-minded companies have transitioned to have their cigars produced at the Fabrica Oveja Negra factory, located in Estelí, Nicaragua. The factory was initially best known for producing Black Label Trading Company’s lineup, followed by Black Works Studio—with James Brown having a stake in all three entities.
It has now been announced that Dissident Cigars and Emilio Cigars will join the aforementioned brands to form Oveja Negra Brands, a new entity that consolidates operations for each of the four brands.
Oveja Negra Brands offers a unified marketing strategy, sales reps across the U.S., and centralized distribution warehouse. Oveja Negra Brands will be distributed by L.J.Zucca, tobacco distributors since 1947. There has also been a new website launched to offer a unified map where Oveja Negra Brands’ cigars can be found, as well as merchandise and other helpful information.
