La Aurora Cigars has now announced that the company will launch their much-anticipated 115th Anniversary blend at IPCPR 2019, held in Las Vegas later this month.
La Aurora was famously established as the first cigar factory in the Dominican Republic in 1903. And though the company’s 115th anniversary technically landed in 2018, the special blend that was crafted to mark the occasion has been delayed until this time. The cigars were first announced in late 2018 during the InterTabac trade show (Dortmund, Germany), eventually making their way to the U.S. as a limited-edition offering in March of this year. With La Aurora showcasing the cigars at IPCPR, the blend will now become a regular-production offering.
La Aurora 115 Anniversary features an Ecuadorian wrapper, which is secured over a Brazilian binder and a diverse filler recipe, including Dominican, Nicaraguan, and Brazilian tobaccos. The cigars are packaged in 20-count boxes, with four sizes being priced between $9.50 and $11 MSRP. La Aurora says the cigars will begin shipping directly following this year’s trade show.
