First announced in July 2018, Drew Estate is now shipping the much-anticipated Herrera EstelĂ Miami in its updated form.
Herrera EstelĂ Miami was first announced in July 2016, marking the unorthodox move for Drew Estate to have a cigar produced outside of Nicaragua. As Willy Herrera, master blender for Drew Estate, began his career in the cigar industry at his family’s boutique El Titan de Bronze factory, it was seen as a fitting choice to have the factory take on the project—a spinoff of Drew Estate’s popular Herrera EstelĂ brand.
Originally created as a one-off batch, Herrera Estelà Miami was then overhauled with a new design and an added four sizes in 2018. The updated cigars feature the same blend as the original release: Ecuadorian Habano Oscuro wrapper, Ecuadorian Sumatra binder, Dominican and Nicaraguan fillers. The cigars are now bound in a black/gold layout and priced in the range of $9.80–$12.75 SRP.
Herrera Estelà Miami joins the Habano, Norteño, and Brazilian Maduro offerings in the core lineup of Herrera Estelà blends—billed as the most premium of the four lines. As such, only Drew Diplomat-authorized retailers will be able to offer the cigars to consumers.
