Rocky Patel is set to expand on the brand’s Hamlet 25th Year cigar with a new 7⅝” x 58 Salomon offering, joining the pre-existing Robusto, Toro, and Sixty formats.

Hamlet 25th Year was first introduced at IPCPR 2017, following the Tabaquero by Hamlet Paredes cigar that was first introduced in 2015. With Hamlet 25th Year, the cigars honor famed blender Hamlet Paredes and his impressive 25 years in the cigar industry. The cigar is billed as medium-bodied, using an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper over a Pennsylvania Broadleaf binder and fillers of Nicaragua and Honduras.

The Salomon shape has always been my signature shape to roll. I already have a Salomon for my Tabaquero cigar brand. And it’s always been very popular. So earlier this year, I rolled the 25th blend into the same shape. Rocky smoked one, looked at it, and said ‘this is really good.’ That’s where it began for this new Salomon.Hamlet Paredes

As with all other cigars by Hamlet, the Hamlet 25th Year Salomon is rolled at Rocky’s boutique TaviCusa factory in Estelí. The Salomon arrives in 10-count boxes, retailing for $11 per cigar; availability is expected later this month.
