As part of an effort to overhaul the Gran Habano brand throughout the past year, Gran Habano has now announced a new project known as Blue in Green.
Blue in Green is said to be an altered version of one of the company’s classic blends, using vintage tobaccos to offer a medium-bodied, Connecticut-wrapped smoking experience. Despite being based in Honduras, the cigar focuses primarily on Nicaraguan leaf, using Nicaraguan tobaccos in the binder and filler. This recipe is described as being fuller in flavor than traditional Connecticut smoking experiences.
Blue in Green displays modernized packaging with ornate artwork, distinguishing the brand from traditional Gran Habano offerings. The cigars have been rolled in three sizes, with prices ranging from $9 to $9.50. Blue in Green will be shipping to retailers in the coming days.
