Working in collaboration with Fabrica Oveja Negra, Emilio Cigars has announced the release of Grimalkin Halloween Edition.
Grimalkin was first released in 2011, named for an archaic term for a female cat, one that is often associated with witchcraft. The cigars were then brought back earlier this year, working with James Brown and his Estelí-based Fabrica Oveja Negra factory.
Little information was provided concerning the Grimalkin Halloween Edition, though it appears the Nicaraguan puro blend has been tweaked to highlight a maduro version of the wrapper seen on the Grimalkin earlier this year. In addition, the cigar’s packaging has been altered to showcase a Halloween-themed orange color scheme.
Only a single size has been rolled, offered in a 5″ x 50 robusto format that will retail for $9.75. The cigars will hit select retail shelves throughout this week.
