First announced in April, Joya de Nicaragua has now begun shipping the limited edition TAA Exclusive Antaño Gran Reserva Presidente to retailers.

The cigars mark Joya’s first entry into the annual TAA releases, where manufacturers showcase limited projects for the Tobacconists’ Association of America, which is composed of roughly 80 retailers across the country. For 2018, both Joya de Nicaragua and the TAA are celebrating their 50th anniversaries; as such, the Antaño Gran Reserva Presidente has been among the most hyped TAA releases for 2018.

The cigars are reportedly Dr. Alejandro Martínez Cuenca’s (owner of Joya de Nicaragua) favorite size of the Antaño Gran Reserva—a select blend that saw its reintroduction to the market in 2017. Antaño Gran Reserva Presidente arrives in a 20-count box and will be available exclusively for TAA Members at $12.50 per cigar (MSRP). Joya has released 1,000 boxes of the cigars for 2018.
