As indicated in our original review of the AJ Fernandez Last Call earlier this year, the brand has now announced the follow-up release—Last Call Maduro Geniales.

The cigars feature the same 4½×48 Rothschild vitola as the original, arriving in the same boxes of 25, only featuring a new black color scheme.

As for the blend, all-Nicaraguan fillers are bound in a dark, Pennsylvania Broadleaf wrapper. The original was similar, swapping broadleaf for Ecuador Habano Rosado. Perhaps most importantly, fans can expect the same affordable price tag as the original (technically a 25¢ increase), coming in at $5.25.

The Last Call Maduro highlights the unique flavors and sweet notes found in A.J. ‘s Nicaraguan Pennsylvania Broadleaf wrapper. Fans of the original Last Call Geniales, will enjoy this medium to full body cigar, one that is the perfect representation of a Nicaraguan Puro.Ricky Somoza, Vice President of A.J. Fernandez

The cigars are expected to be debuted at the 2016 IPCPR trade show and ship shortly thereafter.
