The 2014 Rocky Mountain Cigar Festival is now behind us, and it’s safe to say that cigar fanatics across the country got their fill of some of the best cigars the industry has to offer. The event was a huge success, with thousands of consumers in attendance, and multitudes of the industry’s top manufacturers, craft breweries, distilleries, accessory manufacturers and more. It really is impressive to see the growth this event has witnessed in only a few years, since its inception in 2010.
With a growing list of vendors, attendees were treated to a goodie bag filled with 40 premium cigars (plus many more for VIP tickets), Xikar butane, Jet Line triple torch lighter, cigar cutter, Oliva taster glass, and plenty of food and drinks from craft breweries and distilleries such as Oskar Blues, AC Golden, Boulder Beer, Breckenridge Distillery, and many more.
Highlights of the show included
- Cigar goodie bags
- Show-special prices
- Appearances from cigar celebrities such as Jonathan Drew, Pete Johnson, Matt Booth, Willy Herrera, Dion Giolito, Christian Eiroa, Rocky Patel, Janny Garcia, and Dean Parsons, among others
- Live music
- Drink and food tickets
- Luxury vehicle show
- Billiards (play with the pros)
With the improved venue (Omni Interlocken Resort) and added list of cigar manufacturers, this year’s event was a dramatic improvement on years prior. It looks as though the Rocky Mountain Cigar Festival is here to stay – now competing with some of the top cigar events in the country. And why shouldn’t it? Colorado is a very central location, drawing consumers from every direction, hosting attendees to the beautiful landscape, as well as some of the top craft breweries in the country.
