2012 has now come and gone, and what a great year it has been. Let’s review shall we? The Cigar Dojo website was born in February 2012 and the Cigar Dojo app was born in October of 2012. That’s a great year right there, I cant even remember what life was like before the Dojo. The Cigar Dojo has given away a ton of great cigars such as: My Father, Espinosa, Ortega, Arturo Fuente, AJ Fernandez, Oliva, EP Carillo, Rocky Patel. We also had our 12 Days of Cigars and Christmas giveaway, where many of the Dojo members chipped in and donated prizes to give out during the holidays. The Cigar Dojo community has quickly turned into one of the most entertaining, informative, and generous cigar communities in the world! Yes, its been a great year for the Dojo. So let’s toast to 2012 and welcome 2013 Dojo style! In round 9 of the Great Cigar Giveaway this weeks theme is: New Years Celebrations or New Years Resolutions.
We are very thankful and appreciative of our members, we want to pass on that thanks in the form of free cigars! Round 9 will run from Monday December 31st at 5PM (MDT) and will end Thursday January 3rd at 7PM (MDT) the winners will be announced at some point on Thursday night or on Friday afternoon.

A couple weeks ago, I was at an Alec Bradley event at Capitol Cigars in downtown Denver, it was a fun event and many tasty AB cigars were consumed. In attendance was Alec Bradley’s own Barry Blonder, AKA The Rock Star and Barry hung out with the Dojo gang, making us laugh and we had a great time. At the end of the night, Barry pulled me aside and said… “hey I’d like to give you some cigars and stuff to giveaway to the other Dojo members who couldn’t be here tonight”. Barry donated some sweet stuff and we are thankful to be able to give it away to you Dojo members. This weeks grand prize is an Alec Bradley 5-Pack sampler featuring a Black Market, Family Blend, Prensado, Tempus, and a American Classic blend cigar. The contest takes place on our Cigar Dojo app therefore to officially enter our contest you must install our cigar app on your smartphone. Our cigar app is FREE and can be downloaded for iPhone or Android.

STEP 2 LOGIN TO THE APP
After you have downloaded the app to your phone you must login to the app by clicking the “profile” button in the app and either create a new account or simply use your existing Twitter our Facebook account to login.
FINAL STEP – POST IN THE APP
For the final step, you MUST post a picture that shows you celebrating the New Year or paying homage to the past year. The theme is “New Years Celebration and New Years Resolutions on the Dojo!”
Any reference to the CigarDojo in your image is worth double-points and you can enter once (or twice) per day for the duration of the contest.
When you post your image in our cigar app you are officially entered into this weeks contest! Simple eh? By taking the final step you are acknowledging that you have done all the steps necessary for entry and wish to be considered in this contest. You are also agreeing to the contest rules which are as follows:
