I recently smoked the Jaime Garcia Reserva Especial TAA Blend, which I was able to pick up from Smoke Inn, being as they’re one of the only shops that are allowed to sell this special blend. This cigar looks similar to a Pardon Anniversary series with its fuzzy looking, maduro wrapper and perfectly box pressed shape I couldn’t take my eyes off of it. It comes neatly wrapped with a blue, silk ribbon on the end and the band looks very sophisticated. I like it.
I love cutting a box pressed torpedo-style cigar. Something about it is just right, I almost always get a perfect cut. This cigar was no exception. The draw was easy and produced a generous amount of white smoke with each puff, and a razor sharp burn. No touch ups required.
The smoke on this cigar was creamy and mellow with a long finish that left your mouth feeling clean. It was a very pleasant experience. Milk chocolate with a light hint of pepper made the cigar a nice mild smoke great for an early morning coffee and donut session!
What was most striking about the Jaime Garcia Reserva Especial is that it was a similar style to a Padron but with half the body and half the strength, which may sound bad, but was actually okay with me because they are about half the price.
I enjoyed this cigar with a refreshing Collins drink, and afterwards was left with a clean, content feeling, and that is just fine in my book!
Short Link:
- Affordable
- Smooth creamy flavor
- Anytime smoke
