Pospiech Cigars has begun shipping the new Powstanie Sumatra to retailers across the U.S., bringing the cigar into the company’s core lineup.
The cigar uses an Ecuadorian Sumatra-seed wrapper over binders from Mexico and Pennsylvania, with fillers from the Dominican Republic and Nicaragua. Production takes place at Fábrica de Tabacos Nica Sueño S.A. in Nicaragua, the same factory behind Powstanie’s other core blends.
“Powstanie Sumatra was built to fit exactly what retailers and consumers have been asking us for,” said Mike Palmer, National Sales Manager for Pospiech Cigars. “This is a blend that delivers complexity, balance and consistency while still bringing something new to the Powstanie portfolio.”
The Powstanie Sumatra is offered in four box-pressed sizes, with all cigars packaged in 21-count boxes. The first allocation totals roughly 20,000 cigars, with shipments now arriving at retailers.
