Diesel is returning to the grill this summer with the second installment of its limited series inspired by outdoor cooking. Following the debut of the Backyard BBQ line last year, the brand has announced Diesel Burnt Ends, a new project scheduled to begin shipping to retailers on May 1st.

Like its predecessor, Burnt Ends is produced at Tabacalera AJ Fernandez in Nicaragua. The blend features a Pennsylvania Broadleaf wrapper, a Nicaraguan binder, and Nicaraguan fillers. The cigar is offered in a single 6X52 toro vitola and is designed to provide a profile consistent with the brandโ€™s reputation for fuller-bodied tobacco.

Justin Andrews, Global Brand Manager Ambassador of Diesel Cigars, noted the intent behind the release:

โ€œWe wanted to create something that would celebrate the true spirit of summer. A cigar that brings people together and makes them happy without putting you in the poorhouse. This cigar is designed to be bought by the box and smoked with your friends. If you pull up to the cookout with a box of Burnt Ends, youโ€™ll definitely be invited to the next one.โ€

The cigars are packaged in 10-count boxes marketed for portability. Diesel Burnt Ends will carry a Suggested Retail Price of $74.99 per box, which breaks down to approximately $7.50 per cigar.
