Valacari Cigars is marking its 10th anniversary with a full portfolio rebrand and the introduction of a new limited edition cigar called Decimus.

Founded in 2016 by Nimmer Ahmad, the company traces its roots back to Ahmadโ€™s early days working in a cigar shop before eventually opening his own retail location and launching the Valacari brand. Since then, the company has expanded its lineup while focusing on traditional craftsmanship and modern blending techniques.

As part of the anniversary, Valacari has updated the branding across its portfolio while keeping the core blends intact. The Messenger has been renamed Neoclassic Connecticut, aligning it with the Neoclassic Habano. The Nobility line has been reblended, now using an Ecuadorian maduro wrapper over Nicaraguan tobaccos. Astronomia and Lumineer remain unchanged.

The company has also standardized its sizes, with all cigars now offered in toro (6 x 52) and robusto formats. Packaging has been updated as well, with the portfolio now presented in 20-count boxes.

Production for Valacari moved to the La Tabacaria factory last year, a shift intended to support growth while maintaining consistency.

The anniversary release, Decimus, features a Mexican San Andrรฉs maduro wrapper and is presented with dual bands and a flag-style cap. The cigar is positioned as a limited edition tied to the companyโ€™s 10-year milestone.

โ€œFor the past ten years, Valacari has been about honoring tradition while continuing to evolve,โ€ said Ahmad. โ€œThis rebrand celebrates where weโ€™ve been, while positioning us for the next decade of creating exceptional cigars.โ€
