Casa 1910 has announced a brand update that includes redesigned packaging across its portfolio along with the introduction of a new cigar line called El Ébano.

According to the company, the changes are part of a broader shift in how the brand presents its cigars as it expands distribution in global markets. The update focuses on clearer branding and a more unified look across the company’s core lines while keeping the existing blends and aging processes the same.

“Casa 1910 has always been rooted in authenticity,” said Rob Maneson, CEO of Casa 1910. “This evolution brings our visual identity into alignment with the depth and craftsmanship of our cigars. As we continue expanding globally, it is essential that our presentation reflect the same discipline, heritage, and pride that define our cigars.”

Alongside the packaging update, Casa 1910 says it will focus its long-term portfolio on Mexican puros, cigars made entirely from Mexican tobacco. The company indicated that feedback from distributors and retailers played a role in that decision. Non-puro blends are being removed from the regular portfolio and may return later as limited releases in certain markets.

“This is not a reinvention of Casa 1910 — it’s a refinement,” said Jamie Baer, co-founder of Casa 1910. “Our cigars and our commitment to quality remain exactly the same. What’s evolving is how we present that story to the world.”

Introducing El Ébano

The first cigar connected to the brand update is El Ébano, a new blend named after the Battle of El Ébano during the Mexican Revolution. The company says the cigar draws inspiration from that historical moment while using tobacco grown in the San Andrés Valley.

El Ébano features a Colorado Maduro San Andrés wrapper over a San Andrés Claro binder and a Mexican filler blend, all aged for five years.

The line will be offered in three sizes, packaged in 10-count boxes:

  • Corona (5½ x 42) — $11.50 MSRP
  • Robusto (5 x 50) — $14.00 MSRP
  • Toro Extra (6 x 52) — $15.00 MSRP

Casa 1910 will also offer its Cuchillo Parado and Tierra Blanca lines in the same three formats.

The updated packaging and expanded vitolas for Cuchillo Parado and Tierra Blanca are available to order now, while El Ébano is scheduled to ship in mid-summer 2026. The company plans to showcase the new look and line at the Premium Cigar Association trade show in New Orleans this April.
