A new cigar company called Pariah Cigars has been announced, representing the latest project from Kevin Baxter, who is widely known for his work with Asylum Cigars.
Information about the brand was shared with media through Domain Cigars, which confirmed that Pariah is a separate company. According to the message, Domain has worked with Baxter behind the scenes for more than a year while the concept for the brand was being developed.
โPariah is a distinct company, separate from Domain Cigars, and represents the creative vision of Kevin Baxter,โ the company stated.
The collaboration between Baxter and Domain Cigars was first mentioned more than a year ago, when the two sides began building the foundation for the new company. The recent announcement indicates the project has now reached the stage where more details about the brand and its background are being shared.
โSome of you may remember that more than a year ago we shared that we had begun collaborating on building this company. We are now ready to show you more,โ the statement reads.
The announcement also noted that Baxter has not taken on a commissioned cigar project bearing his name in more than 13 years. The number 13 carries personal significance for Baxter, dating back to his time as a Marine and continuing throughout his career in the cigar industry.
Coverage of the project was provided to media under embargo, which lifts on Friday, March 13 at 8:00 a.m. EST.
More information about Pariah Cigars, including details on the brandโs story and its upcoming releases, is expected to be revealed as the company prepares for its public debut.
