Domain Cigars has announced plans to release the Entropy Corona Heritage Cabinet this April, marking the first entry in the companyโs new Cabinet Series.
The Corona Heritage is a 5 x 42 corona that uses the same blend found in the Entropy line, featuring a Connecticut broadleaf wrapper over Nicaraguan binder and filler tobaccos. Pricing is set at $6.99 per cigar, with the cigars packaged in 50-count cabinets priced at $349.49.
The Cabinet Series presentation removes traditional packaging elements. The cigars are placed in the cabinet without bands or cellophane, reflecting how cigars were historically stored and experienced in factory cabinets.
According to the company, the cigars are arranged into 50-count wheels and aged together in controlled aging rooms before packaging. The process allows the cigars to mature side-by-side for an extended period before shipment.
The packaging is also designed to help regulate environmental changes during transit. Domain says the cabinet system uses layered materials intended to stabilize the cigars during shipping and long-term storage.
Production of the Entropy Corona Heritage Cabinet is not limited, but availability will be restricted to retailers designated as โFlagship Partners.โ
