Española Cigars is commemorating its 30th anniversary with a new limited release, the Española Aniversario 30 Years, according to a press release issued this week.
The cigars are produced at Tabacalera Robles, a factory also known for manufacturing Blackbird Cigars. The project features two distinct blends offered in two vitolas: a 7 x 38 Lancero ($15) and a 6 x 52 Toro ($16). Each size will be packaged in boxes of 10 cigars, with 1,000 boxes produced per vitola.
The release is split into Maduro and Habano versions.
The Maduro uses a San Andrés (Mexico) wrapper over an HBA binder from the Dominican Republic, with fillers from the Dominican Republic and Pennsylvania. The company describes the profile as delivering “deep earth tones” and “sweet spice.”
The Habano features an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper, a San Andrés binder, and a filler blend from the Dominican Republic and Pennsylvania. It is described as offering balanced spice, cedar sweetness, and citrus notes.
According to the company, both blends were rolled in the summer of 2024 and aged for nearly two years prior to release.
“These anniversary releases embody everything we stand for: heritage, meticulous blending, and a deep respect for tobacco tradition,” says Anto Mahroukian, CEO of Española Cigars. “We’re thrilled to share this limited-edition celebration with cigar lovers everywhere.”
Española Aniversario 30 Years is scheduled to begin shipping to retailers following the PCA trade show in late April 2026.
