Davidoff Cigars is marking a milestone in 2026 as the company celebrates the 50th anniversary of the Signature 2000, one of its longest-running and most recognized formats.

First introduced in 1976 as part of the Mille Series, the Signature 2000 was positioned as a smooth and creamy option during a period when fuller-bodied cigars were more common in the marketplace.

Over time, the corona-sized cigar became a central part of what is now known as the brandโ€™s White Band Collection, alongside Grand Cru, Aniversario, and Millennium lines.

โ€œI am immensely humbled to be celebrating 50 years of this timeless classic,โ€ said Javier Gonzรกlez, SVP Head Global Marketing & Innovation at Oettinger Davidoff. โ€œThe 2000’s launch in 1976 was a major milestone in our brand’s history and helped pave the way for our entire White Band Collection. Then as now, the cigar meets the taste preferences of modern aficionados globally.โ€

The Davidoff Signature 2000 features a Dominican binder and filler wrapped in an Ecuadorian leaf. It is offered in a traditional corona size measuring 43 ring gauge by 5 1โ„16 inches.

According to the company, the profile is mild in intensity with notes that include barley, cream, and cedar.

To mark the anniversary, Davidoff will add a commemorative sticker to Signature 2000 packaging throughout 2026. Beginning in March, five packaging formats will carry the anniversary seal.

The company also plans to host events with appointed merchants during the year to recognize the cigarโ€™s five decades in production.
