J.C. Newman Cigar Co. has begun shipping a new limited release called The Brick House is on Fire, an exclusive cigar made for Tobacconist Association of America (TAA) retailers. The cigar is a 6″ x 50 Toro featuring an unfinished foot designed to resemble a flame, a visual touch meant to highlight the ignition point of the blend.

A total of 1,000 boxes—each containing 10 cigars—are being distributed to TAA members across the country. The release carries an MSRP of $12 per cigar.

“When you light The Brick House is on Fire, the cigar ignites in flames,” said fourth-generation owner Drew Newman. “The wrapper and binder are cut back to expose the filler leaves. We are excited to share this special cigar with TAA members.”

The blend consists of an Ecuador Havana wrapper over Nicaraguan binder and filler tobaccos aged for five years, produced at J.C. Newman’s PENSA factory in Estelí, Nicaragua. The release follows a strong year for the Brick House brand, which earned the No. 10 spot on Cigar Aficionado’s Top 25 of 2024.

“Brick House is one of my great-grandfather’s original cigar brands,” Newman added. “First rolled in 1937, it honors the home where he was born in 1875 — the only brick house in the village.”
