El Rey del Mundo, a long-standing name in the cigar industry, is set to release a new full-time blend called Appointment. Produced at the HATSA factory in Honduras, this cigar combines Nicaraguan and Ecuadorian tobacco with a Connecticut Broadleaf binder, wrapped in a Cameroon seed wrapper grown at the Aladino farm in Honduras. The blend aims to offer a medium-strength smoke with herbal notes of mild pepper, caramel, and cedar.
Senior brand manager Ed Lahmann commented, โEl Rey del Mundo Appointment is blended for the cigar lover who understands the importance of choosing the right cigar for the right occasion. Itโs about taking the time to select and enjoy the perfect cigar. And for us, El Rey del Mundo Appointment is that perfect cigar.โ Suggested pairings include doppelbock beer, medium roast coffee, or bourbon.
The Appointment line will be available in three sizes: Robusto (5 x 50) at $8.79 per cigar, Toro (6 x 54) at $9.19 per cigar, and Gordo (6.5 x 60) at $9.49 per cigar. Shipping to retailers is scheduled to begin on April 14, 2025. With a history of crafting cigars for decades, El Rey del Mundo continues to expand its offerings with this latest release.
