Aric Bey has announced that Black Star Line Cigars has undergone a shift in its personnel structure. The company recently parted ways with Cliff Nelson, its former Vice President of Sales. Owner Aric Bey clarified the situation, stating, “Mr. Nelson no longer speaks for Black Star Line Cigars. Any retailer that has been in contact with him can reach out to us directly via email or by phone.” It has been confirmed that Nelson has exited the cigar industry entirely.

In other developments, Black Star Line Cigars has expanded its team with new hires. TJ Jones, DJ Jackson, and Mimi Palmer have joined as sales representatives, while Sarah Burkhart steps into the role of Brand Ambassador. Bey commented on the appointments, saying, “These four individuals were hand-picked by me because of their professionalism, sales experience, and business acumen. They also bring positivity to the team that was sorely needed. My national sales manager Richard Bratton and I are looking to have a great show in New Orleans, and this team is going to help us make that happen.”

The company continues to collaborate with its existing brokers, Doug Sifford, Tim Wong, Albert Cisneros, and Quinton Brown, maintaining continuity in its operations. These changes come as Black Star Line Cigars prepares for an upcoming event in New Orleans.
