HVC Cigars has announced the release of its Edicion Especial 2015, a cigar line featuring updated packaging and a modified blend. The new design introduces a soft box-press Cuban style, available in five vitolas. This release coincides with the companyโ€™s 10-year anniversary celebration of the Edicion Especial series.

The cigars are produced using aged tobaccos sourced from two farms in Jalapa and Esteli, Nicaragua, and are finished with a San Andres Maduro wrapper. The lineup includes Especiales (48 x 6 ยฝ), Corona Gorda (46 x 5 5/8), Short Robusto (52 x 4 ยฝ), Toro (54 x 6), and El Grandote (60 x 6). The Especiales size is a limited edition, with only 1,000 boxes of 10 cigars each, while the other sizes will be part of regular production, packaged in 20-count boxes. Retail prices range from $9.00 to $12.60 per cigar, depending on the vitola. The cigars are expected to be available by mid-June.

โ€œThis evolution reflects our dedication to craftsmanship, innovation and the ever-evolving preferences of our customers,โ€ said Reinier Lorenzo, Founder and CEO of HVC Cigars. The release is crafted at Fabrica de Tabacos HVC, SA, in Nicaragua, maintaining the brandโ€™s focus on its heritage and quality standards.
