Black Works Studio announced plans to present a curated 10-year anniversary collection at the upcoming PCA Trade Show in New Orleans. Named the BLK WKS BOOMBOX, this set features cigars handcrafted at Fabrica Oveja Negra in Esteli, Nicaragua, and includes past limited releases from the brandโs history.
The BOOMBOX collection, housed in a 21-count box, contains two cigars each of S&R (5×50), Hyena (5×46), Sindustry (5×50 and 7×38, with three of the latter), Paper Crane (5×46), Boondock (6.25×46 and 5.25×50), Killer Bee Shaolin (5.5×46), Intergalactic Sumatra (6×46), and Intergalactic Event Horizon (5.5×50). These cigars, produced in Nicaragua, will be available to BLTC/BLK WKS retailers attending PCA 2025 on a first-come, first-served basis, with shipping to begin immediately following the event.
James Brown, creator of BLTC/BLK WKS and partner at Fabrica Oveja Negra, shared his thoughts on the project: “I’m very excited about this 10yr Anniversary project for Black Works Studio. We are taking things back to the beginning with the BOOMBOX artwork and all the old favorite releases. This box is a curated collection of all the BLKWKS limited releases over the last decade. Some of these cigars have not been released in years and are always asked about. This will be your chance to revisit what put BLKWKS on the map and made it what it is today.”
