The Boutique Cigar Association (BCA) has added Rob Loud to its Board of Directors. Loud, an entrepreneur and innovator, is the CEO of Imcon International Inc., a technology company he started in 2017 in Atlanta. The company focuses on the Internet Backpack, a mobile connectivity solution that brings internet access to remote and underserved areas covering over 90% of the globe. Loud has years of experience in technology and consulting, including projects with Fortune 500 companies and large wireless networks. Before Imcon, he worked as an institutional investor and technology consultant.
Outside of his tech career, Loud is involved in the cigar industry and lifestyle pursuits. He co-owns Empire Social Lounge in Miami, a cigar lounge that serves enthusiasts with a curated selection. Based in Marietta, Georgia, Loud now joins the BCA board, where he aims to support small-batch cigar makers.
“I’m honored to join the Boutique Cigar Association,” Loud said. “I want to help amplify our voice, protect our craft, and support boutique makers everywhere.” The BCA, based on this announcement from March 07, 2025, looks to move forward with Loud’s involvement.
