Joya de Nicaragua has introduced a new vitola to their Clásico Original and Clásico Medio Siglo lines. The Gordito, measuring 4×56, offers smokers a concentrated experience in a shorter format.
The Clásico Original, Nicaragua’s first cigar with historical White House connections during the Nixon administration, features an Ecuadorian Connecticut Shade wrapper over Nicaraguan fillers. In the Gordito size, it delivers creamy smoke with woody notes and hints of pepper.
The Clásico Medio Siglo Gordito, wrapped in Habano Criollo and filled with Nicaraguan tobaccos, provides a mild-to-medium bodied smoke with notes of spice, wood, and leather.
“The Clásico line has been at the heart of Joya de Nicaragua’s history for over 57 years. With the launch of Clásico Original and Medio Siglo Gordito, we continue to celebrate our heritage while offering an enhanced experience to today’s smokers,” said Juan Ignacio Martínez, Executive President of Joya de Nicaragua.
The Clásico Original Gordito was released in November 2024, while the Clásico Medio Siglo in this format debuts in March 2025. Spain will be the first market to receive these products before their global launch.
