Davidoff, has officially inaugurated the expansion of its production site in Villa González, Dominican Republic. The move comes in response to increasing global demand for its signature brands, particularly Davidoff.
The expansion includes a new 1,700 m² blending center, an extension of manufacturing halls, and additional tobacco storage at its Jicomé processing site. The company has also improved infrastructure with a new highway entrance and a cafeteria to enhance employee well-being.
“This marks a key milestone in our 150-year history,” said Beat Hauenstein, CEO of Oettinger Davidoff. “With this investment, we can double our annual production while maintaining the highest quality and consistency for our global partners and aficionados.”
Hamlet Espinal, General Manager of Tabadom Holding, Inc., expressed pride in the development, noting the dedication of the company’s expert blenders and cigar artisans. The expansion reinforces Davidoff’s “crop to shop” philosophy, ensuring a steady supply of its sought-after handmade cigars worldwide.
