Romeo y Julieta, have announced a release which will celebrate and highlight the brand’s 150th anniversary. The cigar will come in three sizes and the MSRP will range from $25 to $28. Altadis U.S.A. has stated the cigar will begin shipping in April.
“Reaching 150 years is a significant milestone,” said Davide Moro, CEO of Altadis U.S.A. “This anniversary acknowledges the contributions of many individuals across generations, from farmers to consumers.”
To commemorate the occasion, the company has planned a series of events throughout 2025.
- Procigar Festival Launch: The celebration begins in February at the Procigar Festival in the Dominican Republic, featuring the Romeo y Julieta 150th Anniversary cigar and the limited “Palazzo of Love” humidor, which will be auctioned.
- National Release: In April, the anniversary cigar lineup will debut at the Premium Cigar Association Trade Show in New Orleans.
- Immersive Experiences: Throughout the year, the brand will host storytelling events and educational initiatives highlighting its history and future direction.
The 150th anniversary reflects both the brand’s history and its evolving vision for the future of cigar craftsmanship.
