Crowned Heads is bringing back the ‘Wabash Cannonball’ cigar, which originally debuted in 2020 as an exclusive release for Casa de Montecristo in Nashville, TN. The updated version of this cigar will now be available nationwide across all Casa de Montecristo locations.

The ‘Wabash Cannonball’ was first released as a tribute to Nashville’s Opryland USA theme park and its famous steel rollercoaster, which operated from 1975 to 1997. The new version, launching in 2024, features a new blend and size, measuring 5 7/8 x 52. It includes a Mexican San Andrés maduro wrapper, Ecuadorian binder, and fillers from Nicaragua and the Dominican Republic. Packaged in 12-count boxes, the production run is capped at 15,000 cigars with a retail price of $13.90 each.

John Huber, co-founder of Crowned Heads, expressed his excitement for the return of the ‘Wabash,’ noting its significance in capturing a nostalgic moment for the company. Casa de Montecristo CEO Sherri Sieminski emphasized the partnership with Crowned Heads, calling the cigar an important part of their exclusive offerings.

The cigars are produced at the TacaNicsa factory in Estelí, Nicaragua, which also manufactures other Crowned Heads brands, including Mil Días and Juárez.
