Aric Bey and Black Star Line Cigars have announced a fifth-anniversary cigar titled Marun, which means five in Yorùbá (which is also the name of an indigenous tribe in Nigeria). The Marun will mark the first time that Black Star Line has worked with the Espinosa team and the La Zona factory.
Aric Bey states,” The opportunity to work with the Espinosa team was brought to me by Richie “riot” Otero. He recognized our hard work and proposed we do a project with La Zona. It was Great working with Hector Alfonso the master blender at La Zona. He is a wealth of knowledge and taught me and my team some new things.” Bey states, “this is a significant year for us. It came up fast and I can’t believe I’ve had this much success in a short period of time. The fifth year for most businesses is a pivotal year and we are looking to keep growing”. La Zona along with all the other factories I work with will help us to get there.”
