Perdomo 30th Anniversary to Ship Before Thanksgiving

The highly anticipated Perdomo 30th Anniversary Cigar is said to be shipping to appointed merchants this month. In a note on Facebook the company stated that the product will begin shipping in the coming weeks and would be available before Thanksgiving. The product was displayed at this summer’s PCA show in Vegas but exact details on when the product would be ready had yet-to-be pinpointed until now.

Building on the bourbon barrel-aging process that Perdomo has pioneered with cigars such as Perdomo Habano Bourbon Barrel-Aged and Perdomo Double Aged 12-Year Vintage, the Perdomo 30th Anniversary makes use of bourbon barrel-aged tobaccos, now increasing the age to a whopping 15 years. The cigars will arrive in three variations—Connecticut, Sun Grown, and Maduro—with each including tobaccos from the Perdomo family’s 2008 crops (harvested from the family’s Estelí, Condega, and Jalapa farms) throughout the blend.

“These handcrafted masterpieces embody my parents’ unrivaled dedication to creating the finest premium handmade cigars, combining artisanal techniques with a deep passion for excellence,” states Nicholas Perdomo, III. “The Perdomo 30th Anniversary is blended with exquisite 15-year aged tobaccos which are carefully hand-selected from our most prestigious farms located in Estelí, Condega, and the famed Jalapa valley in Nicaragua. We blended these cigars to not only be rich in flavor, but also to be exceptionally smooth on the pallet with a balanced complexity and slight hints of sweetness.”

Perdomo 30th Anniversary is packaged in boxes of 30 cigars, with each of the three blends being crafted in five sizes. Described by Nick Perdomo, Jr. as “the best cigar we’ve ever made,” the project has been 10 years in the making, and was originally intended to be launched two years ago (preceding the company’s 30th anniversary in 2022). The cigars were opened up to Perdomo’s top 75 US-based accounts at last week’s PCA trade show, and are slated to begin shipping before Thanksgiving of this year.
