Aganorsa Leaf has been in the process of rebranding and cleaning up the Casa Fernandez brand since Terence Reilly arrived with the company in November 2017. The most dramatic change was the name switch from Casa Fernandez to Aganorsa Leaf but they have also been slowly freshening up each brands identity via the cigar bands, boxes, and logos. The most recent rebrand is of their core line Corojo, Maduro, Habano, and Connecticut brands which will now be referred to as the Validación Series. The name of the series La Validación refers to the hashtag Terence and others have been using on social media when smoking Aganorsa Leaf #validating which was originally started by Aganorsa’s Paul Palmer.

Maintaining the same blends as the original releases, the four lines have been repackaged with more prominent Aganorsa Leaf branding, and the box counts and sizes have been standardized. All four lines will now be showcased in boxes of 15 and consist of three vitolas: Gran Robusto 5 x 54, Toro 6.25 x 52, and Gran Toro 6 x 58. In keeping with the original versions, all sizes will be box pressed with the exception of the Habano, which will continue to be rolled as round parejos.

ā€œLast year we sent out a survey to our retail partners and the big take away is our cigars need to better reflect our company logo and image.ā€ states Terence Reilly, who serves as Vice President of Sales and Marketing. ā€œWe listened to this valuable feedback and have worked with a professional designer to create an image that is unmistakably Aganorsa. We think both retailers and consumers will be thrilled with this new look that captures the essence of Aganorsa: OUR LEAF IS OUR STRENGTH.”

The Habano and Connecticut lines will arrive in late May while the Maduro and Corojo Lines will arrive in July in time for PCA. Pricing will range from $8.75 to $10.75 MSRP
