Lost & Found Cigars has announced a new series of cigars, collectively known as No Free Lunch. While the collaborative-minded company is best known for their one-off releases, featuring a single size and single blend, No Free Lunch comes in multiple sizes, blends, and vintages.
The project is geared towards charity, with 100% of the profits being donated to charities in perpetuity. The project is said to have originally been slated for the summer, but the hardships of COVID-19 spurred them to move the release up to a sooner timeframe.
No Free Lunch will also be joined by an additional charity-minded project, which will be a shop exclusive for Texas-based Renegade Cigar Lounge. Details on this release are forthcoming, but Renegade has chosen The North Texas Food Bank to donate proceeds of the sale.
Lost & Found Cigars consists of founding members Tony Bellatto, Jaclyn Sears, and Robert Caldwell, whose specialty is finding forgotten overruns in various factories—cigars that have often benefitted greatly from time—and repurposing/repackaging them as unique releases.
