Miami Cigar & Company is set to bring the brand’s former Don Lino Africa line back to life, debuting a revamped iteration of the cigar at his year’s IPCPR trade show in late June.

Don Lino Africa is part of Miami Cigar & Co.’s 30th anniversary celebrations throughout 2019. As such, the company has re-built the Don Lino Africa line from the ground up, including an exciting new blend that is now being rolled at A.J. Fernández’s prestigious factory in Estelí. This includes a Habano 2000 wrapper from Ecuador, an African Cameroon binder, and a diverse filler recipe of Piloto Dominicano, Ometepe, Jalapa, and Estelí-based tobaccos.

The cigars are inspired by company founder Nestor Miranda and his adventures across Africa (fittingly including an African-grown binder). Don Lino Africa will be available in the following sizes (all box-pressed): robusto “Duma” 5″ x 50 ($9.00), belicoso “Kifaru” 6¼” x 52 ($10.50), toro “Punda Milia” 5½” x 54 ($10), gran toro “Tembo” 6″ x 60 ($11), and petit corona “Kudu” 4″ x 44 ($5.98). Consumers can expect Don Lino Africa to being shipping by September 2019.
