Crowned Heads has partnered with fellow Tennessee-based tobacconist, Smokers Abbey, to introduce a limited allotment of a new blend, known as “Sanctuary.”

The cigars are being made at Crowned Heads’ usual manufacturing partner in the Dominican Republic, Tabacalera La Alianza, S.A. (managed by famed blender Ernesto Perez-Carrillo). For this one-off release, only 333 boxes of 12 cigars have been made, offered in a singular, 5½” x 52 trunk-pressed “Genios” format.

We’ve been amazed to witness the rapid rise of The Abbey since they began from square one five plus years ago. We’ve always had a mutually supportive local relationship and it’s really been a labor of love to create a shop exclusive for them. ‘Sanctuary’ have been aged for over fourteen months, and they are truly a special smoke for a special tobacconist.Jon Huber, Crowned Heads co-owner/founder

Crowned Heads Sanctuary features an Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper over all-Nicaraguan binder/fillers, with the cigars said to have been aged for over 14 months prior to release. Pricing has been set at $129.99 per 12-count box (including shipping), or $11.99 per cigar. While the official release date isn’t until April 1st, Smokers Abbey is currently taking pre-orders over the phone: (615) 678-8458, through their email: info@smokersabbey.com, and online: SmokersAbbey.com.
