In a press release sent out today, Mombacho Cigars, S.A. has announced a mutual separation with the company’s brand manager, Rob Rasmussen. The company’s restructured brand management takes effect today, with Jaclyn Sears of Jaxsears Inc. taking over Rasmussen’s responsibilities, while “Rasmussen will continue pursuing other professional interests.”

Rob joined Mombacho Cigars in November 2016, previously being known in the industry for his cigar blogging work. Over the two-plus years with the company, Mombacho stated it was the fastest growth period in the company’s history.

Rob has been an invaluable part of the Mombacho Family since he joined us back in 2016. He has taken the Mombacho brand a long way in a very short amount of time and we appreciate everything he did for this company. I am sad to see him leave, but I know he will find great success wherever his career path takes him.
