Isabela Cigar Company has announced the release of the brand’s limited edition Shape-Shifter cigar, which is set to arrive at select retailers across the country on Dec. 1st.

Shape-Shifter incorporates Pennsylvania Ligero and multiple Nicaraguan varietals throughout the blend—finished in a barber-pole-style Ecuadorian Connecticut and Nicaraguan Habano Prieto wrappers. The ingredients are said to be aged prior to and post rolling, including two-and-a-half years post production.

[…] allow all of the different tobaccos TIME…to rest, marry, season and ripen together, to fully reveal their unique flavor profiles, revealing a mind-bending blend of multiple powerful transitions of ever-changing flavor profiles..!

This is an extremely limited project, with Isabela shipping only 50 boxes of 12 and 50 bundles of 25 to retailers (1,850 cigars total). Shape-Shifter cigars will also be available in 5-packs and 12-count boxes on the company’s own website, priced at $8.95 per cigar (MSRP).

Isabela Cigar Company was founded by Johnny Piette in 1997, with the company ramping up production in 2015 to offer their cigars on a national scale. The company is known for its use of unique tobacco strains, heavy ligero and medio tiempo usage (the highest/strongest tobaccos primings), barber-pole wrappers, and sugar-based sealants on cigar heads (sweetened tip).
