In a press release today,ย Plasencia Cigars announced thatย Cosecha 146 is shipping to the U.S. market and is now available for purchase at many retailers.
Cosecha 146 marks the first cigar in Plasencia’sย Cosecha series, as well as the first new blend outside the Alma series, which was used to debut the revamped Plasencia brand at the tail end of 2016.
The cigars made their first appearance at IPCPR 2017, where the blend was described asย having aย medium body and full flavor and were (then) estimated for a September ship date.
Cosecha is Spanish for โharvest,โ and the blend focuses on the Placenciaโs Honduran and Nicaraguan leaves from their 2011 – 2012 cropโthe family’s 146th harvest.
Plasencia also stated that they have further plans for theย Cosecha seriesโ
In addition to Cosecha 146, Plasencia Cigars is currently in the process of aging other tobacco as part of the Cosecha series, which will continue to be introduced in the coming years.
