UPDATE: Apparently beer and cigars are a staple for Dojo members as we had a TON of entries this week. After picking 8 finalists we allowed Dean Parsons to pick the grand prize winner live on our Friday night show and he selected Powderhound as the winner of the bundle of Epic Cigars. Gahri and Simon were the two runner-up prize winner. Congrats to the winners and thanks to all the folks who entered.
As the title reads, this week’s contest is sure to be EPIC! “Why?” you ask, because our featured brand this week is (you guessed it) Epic Cigars.

Sounds simple, doesn’t it? That’s because it is! This week’s contest is all about enjoying two of the finer things this world has ever known: beer and cigars.
But what if I don’t drink beer?
Quit your whining! Now pull it together and get creative. You do not have to drink beer to enter this contest. Just find a way to involve it (beer) in some fashion…
Some examples of a contest entry may be:
- Post a picture of your favorite beer and cigar pairing
- Crush a beer can on your face while smoking a cigar
- Juggle beer cans while smoking
- Replace your beer and cigar labels with one of your own
What ever you do, make it fun and original!

Be creative! We love to see interesting cigar pictures, use a cool camera effect, angle, filters, lenses, and lighting! Anything to make your image stand out.

At Cigar Dojo, we are very thankful and appreciative of our members, and we want to pass on the appreciation in the form of free cigars! This week’s contest will run from Wednesday, June 18th at 5PM (MDT) and will end Friday, June 20th at 6PM (MDT). The winners will be announced on Friday night during the Smoke Night Live show, featuring Dean Parsons of Epic Cigars.

Our first place winner this week will win a new, sealed brick of Epic Maduro Reserva cigars! This thing is no joke – sized at 6 x 60, these Gordo maduros are big, bold, and tasty. Through our many taste tests here at the Cigar Dojo headquarters, one thing that’s always struck us about this smoke is its incredible construction. Not often does one find a dark maduro (practically oscuro) cigar with such an amazing burn! Mouthfuls of chewy smoke and flavor last well over an hour, never requiring a touchup of any kind! Expect a pungent  nose of barnyard, blue cheese, and manure on this beast of a cigar. The flavors are earthy with a touch of spice, eventually transitioning to a delicate, buttery sweetness.
