Tatuaje is continuing its Monster Redux series this fall, bringing Jason back for the sixth installment of the project.
The Tatuaje Monster Jason Redux 6 measures 7½” x 52 and uses a Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper over Nicaraguan binder and filler tobaccos. Production was handled by My Father Cigars in Estelí, Nicaragua.
As with previous Redux releases, Jason Redux 6 is packaged in coffin-style cabinet boxes containing 13 cigars. Pricing remains $13 per cigar, or $169 per box.
Production is limited to 5,000 boxes, totaling 65,000 cigars. Of those, 4,300 use the standard packaging, while another 700 boxes are numbered. Tatuaje says 666 of those boxes are sequentially numbered, with the remaining boxes marked “XX” and typically reserved for special occasions.
The original Jason was released as part of Tatuaje’s long-running Monster Series, with the character based on Jason Voorhees from the Friday the 13th film franchise. The Redux series has allowed Tatuaje to revisit earlier Monster releases in their original formats.
Tatuaje Monster Jason Redux 6 will be allocated to select retailers and is expected to begin shipping in early October.
